- Member of the MonthA wonderful asset to Caeleste as a whole! Not only does she dedicate her time as a staff member but she also spends a lot of her time being an amazing writer! She is very friendly in the chat box and her characters are very well developed. It seems everytime she steps into chat box or our discord, everything seems to light up! We are blessed to have her apart of the team and cannot thank you enough for your dedication and creativity!
- Thread of the MonthA wild tale of two very dark creatures meeting for a second time... Xavier, possessed by 'The Darkness' tries to warn Resin about the demon inside of him but she is far too fearless to listen. Long story short The Darkness and Resin strike a deal... For twelve months the demon will on feed on her and then on the last day of the twelve months it will leave Xavier's body and never return. However it refuses to leave empty handed and as it leave Xavier it will take Resin's soul! It's a daring, darking, emotional and twisted thread that won't leave you dissapointed!
- Couple of the MonthA very interesting duo that you would never expect to be friends. The noble, strong headed, and rather independant Rhiannon versus Wellington, an eccentric character that has a weak moral compass but hilarious nonetheless. Their dynamics make for very interesting and rather comical threads. You can't help but wonder why a mare like Rhiannon spends her time with a creature like him but then also thankful she is there to take care Wellington and save him from all of his shenanigans.
- Character of the MonthA soul tormented by his own demons and terrible past, Xavier is a unique character to Caeleste. The poor boy seems to have endured Hell - quite literally - only to be further tormented in recent times. While he is not the monster that lives within him, his hold on the metaphorical beast seems to be waning. We can't wait to see what is in store for Xavier's future and whether or not he will shake the hold of his inner demons!
- Quote of the Month
"Another time, perhaps. I believe we've both tormented him enough for today."
A sad moment in the thread Standing in the Way of the Light where Resin turns down the Darkness, the demon within Xavier. However tempted, she has more respect for Xavier and tries to decline as delicately as she knows... It is a capturing moment where the apathetic Resin shows something for the damned Xavier.

Nestled in the heart of Caeleste and surrounded by water, it seems as if the Celestial City belongs in a completely different world. Four beautifully crafted marble bridges connect the city from the north, east, south and west ends of the land. Tall stone buildings jut up from within the city walls, and they provide a startling contrast to the wild biomes that surround the modern island. Within the city walls, the Celestial City is the land that never sleeps. A constant buzz of excitement and energy fills the city air. Equines from all parts of Caeleste come to the city to relish in the exotic atmosphere, to soak in the foreign sights and smells. Whereas the rest of Caeleste still sports the wild and rugged terrain it has had since the beginning of time, Celestial City boasts of new technology and cutting edge architecture. It gleams and glitters under both the sunlight and moonlight, luring creatures of all kinds to experience the bustling city life. At the very center of the city lies the town square, or Caeleste market as it is better known, for it boasts one of the most diverse and expansive marketplaces in all of Caeleste. Many citizens can be found here selling fruits, vegetables, crystals, clothing, and any other type of good you could imagine. A large and eye-catching building towers tall above the rest. It is decorated with stone pillars and ornate carvings, and it pulses with magic. It is the Temple of the Deities, a place for equines to come pay their respects to the mysterious, but powerful, divine beings. However, in all its grandeur, the City holds its fair share of secrets, a gilded city one might call it, for although from the outside it exudes perfection and order, strip away the glittering gold and you will find a much more sinister land. The darkness resides in the dark alleyways, in the shuttered windows, under the smoky air in the saloons and bars. Travel to the outskirts of the city, next to the foreboding black waters filling the moat around the city, and you will find a well-known brothel. Peer into the dark alleyways and you might catch a glimpse of the rumored drug cartel that lurks in the shadows. But these things will only be found if you search hard enough. The City keeps its gates open all day and night, welcoming every creature into its glittering embrace with no qualms. It provides the perfect location to meet new faces and experience new things including gorgeous parades, stunning festivals, and other surprising events that are held from time to time. So what are you waiting for? Welcome to Celestial City.

A breathtaking jungle, home to an abundance of exotic mammals, flowers, reptiles, aviaries, trees, and all other living creatures in between. Painted with a dense coat of emerald, this lovely land is known for adventure and discovery. Abundantly covered in vegetation, it is easy for one to lose their way. A sky scraping canopy shades most the land offering plenty of homes for anthropoids and marsupials of all kinds. With thousands of vibrantly painted flowers and fruit, it offers a glorious kaleidoscope of colors and textures. From South to East a large river offers the life source of the jungle. Many smaller veins branch off and supply bountiful hydration to all corners. There are many trails that lead to many hidden treasure within the jungle, such as caves, waterfalls, pits, etc. During the shaded hours of the day, all is alive. Painted with exotic life and colors giving the jungle its name.. However, not all is so bliss. During the dark hours of the night, when all is vibrant and good is laying to rest the jungle shows her true colors. Tiger, massive anacondas, carnivorous baboons, jaguars, poisonous amphibians, and so much more lurk in the dark shadows offering great threat. Some parts being denser than others offer successful hunting grounds. It is highly recommended to never find yourself wandering around at night. Many poor souls have entered the jungle, to never be heard of again.

At first glance this lovely land looks like one of the most pristine and inviting places of Caeleste. On the west side of world, Amber Sands is home to a long coastline with ever changing sands. The waters are a vibrant blue and warm in the summer months. In the winter it rains often and the ocean grows rough with heavy winds. The soft sands are littered with brightly painted shells. When you plunge into the waters you will find the orange coral reef that lines the coast, and also gorgeously vibrant fish and sea life. Just a few hundred yards up the beach, long lush beach grass starts growing, giving a generous amount of vegetation. At the northern tip of the territory, lining the beach is a rather dense thicket of large coastal pines and rhododendrons that gives the perfect refuge. The forest offers a dense canopy, keeping the rain to a minimum and a safe wall from the winds. Deer, elk, black bear, and cougar often travel through and reside here. Down at the southernmost tip of the territory is where this land shows it’s true colors. The sand turns as black as night, rough with volcanic rock and the oceans water turn dark and murky. Within the dark waters live blood thirsty sharks, electric eels, poisonous sea snakes, aggressive stingrays and giant squid. It’s not normal that these predators travel down the coastline searching for a meal, so be sure when you’re taking a dip, tread lightly.

One of the safest and most relaxing of the territories located within Caeleste! Cerulean Lagoon is home to the love birds honeymoon getaway. Along the southern shorelines of Caeleste where the water is so clear you can see twenty feet below, a large lagoon can be found. The water always seems to lukewarm and rather inviting many come here to relax. Due to the protection of the rock wall that surrounds the lagoon the waves barely move and the water seems to lay completely still. The sand is as white as anyone could imagine and there are hundred of gorgeous fish painted every color of the rainbow that swim, through the crystal water. It’s the perfect place to come and relax or woo that lovely little mare you’ve been trying to get for months. It’s rumored that the waters have a healing agent and a love spell laced in its cerulean depths. Nothing too strong but maybe strong enough to make one feel relaxed enough to let loose. There are little to no dangers in this land for the water is far too warm for any sharks and the lagoon is surrounded by large coral rock wall that offers protection from not only wind and weather but dangerous predators. It’s a lovely sanctuary to get away and relax. Not too many know of this wonderful get away so it is rarely crowded, offering the perfect couples getaway.

Just as the name offers, Alligator Alleyway is a swamp infested with alligators. Little to no land, it’s a bog full of green slime, dangerous water creatures, and floating debris. The scent of decaying vegetation permeates just about everything in it’s wake, deeming it impossible to smell any possible dangers. Alligators, anacondas, water moccasins, piranhas, snapping turtles and bird eating tarantulas call this lovely place their home, along with multiple other dangerous creature, deeming this land one of the most dangerous of Cealeste. It’s always rather musty and dark. Light rarely finds its way through the thick cypress canopy that covers Alligator Alleyway. It rains often and offers little to no refuge from the dangerous waters despite a few small islands of mud and tall Cypress trees that litter the entire landscape. Plenty of old logs and debris can offer a sanctuary from the murky depths but there’s no telling how well they’re going to hold up. Emerald moss litters the entire landscape, clinging to anything it possibly can. Most of the year it is extremely hot and humid, offering little to no coolness unless it's the dead of winter. In that case there is a subtle chill offered to the air but other than that Alligator Alleyway is an uncomfortable swamp, far too dangerous for those not skilled in the art of navigating through flesh eating waters.
Not one of the safest territories known to Caeleste however its natural wonders and dangerous terrain seems to call to those daring enough to adventure. An ancient volcano that remains active has created a wasteland of hard lava rock, and lava beds. The temperature is always extremely hot and of course can be very dangerous. With how high the volcano is elevated, there always seems to be a thick cloud of fog that nestles around the Molten Apex making navigation difficult. The molten hot lava pours from the volcano at a steady level but is, for the most part, kept within the walls of the river system. Little to no life resides here, at least for long. There is no vegetation, everything has been charred to a crisp. It is said to be haunted and there is a dragon that lives in the pit of the volcano, but those are just old wise tales. No one has been quite stupid enough to check and see if this tale is true or not. There are multiple warning signs not to travel up the mountain but it seems no matter how many warning posted, many are daring enough to try and make the trek. The high you climb the more dangerous the terrain grows for the lava grows hotter and thicker as it pours out at the top. There’s been rumors dark monsters live in the bubbling lava and shadows, awaiting someone daft enough to gamble with their life and make the trek to the top.

Indian Flats is miles upon miles of rolling hills, vast open space, and plentiful vegetation. There are is little to no trees, except a few aspens that border a small stream that runs through the southern tip of this territory. This small stream leads to a spacious pond that holds water all year long. In the winter months the pond turns into a rink of slippery ice, which is often sought after young animals for a bit of fun. Fresh water fish can be found in the streams and especially in the pond offering a great place for eagles and other predator aviary. Long swaying grass tickles the landscape, while the sky seems almost tangible. The mountains border the west side of the flats offering a rather picturesque scene. If the clouds are high enough one can see Dead Horse Ridge. Many animals come here to feed and seek refuge. With little to no dense vegetation, it offers one of the poorest places fir any sort of hunting, thus leaving the number of predators at low amount. Mothers of all species come here in the spring time to give birth and raise their young. You can find many deer, elk, mountain goats, and cloven hoofed wildlife all seasons of the year. As spring dumps its rain across its land, the vegetation grows green and lush. When the summer months suck it dry, it looks rather dry and painted with an amber coat of dryness. It's often sought after during the winter months, when the harsh weather is too much to bare up in the high elevations of the mountain ridge and tundra atmosphere.

Just as the names off, the Desert of Desolation is a territory where nothing is offered other than sand and more sand. For miles upon miles you will find the same thing, more sand. Though it sounds somewhat like Devil’s Perch this land is a place of its own. The ground is soft and with harsh winds the entire terrain can shift and transform in a blink of an eye. Sand dunes make up most of the land, some large, some small but always changing. When navigating this land, you must be careful for switchbacks, mirages, poisonous snakes, scorpions and spider, and sand storms. Sand storms are one of the worse threats here, they can happen in a blink of an eye without warning. There is a small oasis that offers a drinking source near the middle but is always difficult to navigate to. Be sure to watch where you step, there are multiple quicksand pools that will most definitely be the demise of any creature that steps within her greedy grasps. Within the territories of Desert of Desolation are five pyramids scattered around at random. Within these pyramids are dark tunnels lit by kerosene cloth soaked torches. It is been told there are treasures that hide within the tombs of the ancient pharaohs, but there are many boobytraps that can threaten lives who make a wrong turn or take a wrong step. Be sure if you are brave enough to enter the pyramids to never go alone, those who do rarely find their way out.

A place where the fallen have been laid permanently to rest. It is said to be rumored these lands are haunted, and lost souls aimlessly wander. Headstones litter the emerald stalks of rolling hills, with a few trees and small plants that have managed to stay alive. A constant, thick cloud of fog seems to resign here, all year long. The ruins are no longer landscaped and have grown rather wild and unruly with weeds and ivy. Some headstones are newer than others but most are so worn down, it’s difficult to read. Scattered across the grounds are a few catacombs and underground crypts. Like all graveyards there is an eerie, unsettling silence that surrounds everything. You never seem to feel alone. The only life form that seems to reside here are a few ravens, the shepherds of the non-living. Atop the largest hill is the heart of the ruins; a large cobble stone building’s architecture has withered away over hundreds of years of abuse. Within the crumbling walls of the tomb are long halls of large stone caskets and urns. If you are brave enough to adventure the tomb long enough you will find a small hallway that leads into an underground tunnel. If you delve deeper you will find an underground tunnel system of ancient crypts. No one knows how big this system is or if it leads anywhere - no one has been quite dense enough to try and figure it out. It is ill advised to stay in the ruins past dusk. Many have wound up missing from these tainted and unearthly land.

The conquering of the Late Winter’s hold over the Dragon Isle has unleashed its true form, a place of magic and change, where those who walk will always find something different. A land bridge has appeared from the ocean, no more than a set of stepping stones on a path to the Isle from the edge of the Ridge, the Silver Pines and the Perch, all leading to the Isle but is still a dangerous path to take. The Isle itself is now a haven, a place of peace and calm while in a permanent state of turmoil. The land is always shifting, changing, full of magic. One moment it would be mountainous, the next a desert, and the next a verdant paradise. It is a place of peace and calm, once again full of wildlife that also shift with their environment. It is indeed, a place that is stuck somewhere between a dream and reality.
